More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
cC addresses the under-utilization of assets that occurs in a university community by bringing together student problem-solvers and exceptional nonprofit clients in a collaborative and impactful program. This project will empower 150 Northwestern & University of Chicago students, 30 MBA students from Kellogg & the GSB, and 30 nonprofit clients, generating an investment of over $300,000 worth of pro-bono service to our communities.
Activities
cC will run 6 10-week long sessions, 3 sessions per campus. Each session will offer a for-credit academic seminar for all students, MBA mentorship for teams of 5 students, and an opportunity to build the capacity of a local nonprofit.
Funding Information
This project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.

Why this Project is Important
Potential Long Term Impact
While cC builds the capacity of nonprofits in the short-term, in the long-term, cC challenges its student leaders to lead integrated, cross-sectoral lives, making lifelong commitments to the social good.
Project Message
I feel so inspired to go out and make an impact. What's especially encouraging is to watch the students of this class exchange ideas...and to know that each person involved in cC will change the world
- Alice Zhao, cC Community Analyst (Northwestern student)
