More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
WCK works to combat hunger in Malawi through an educational nutrition program that teaches youth about the importance of good nutrition. Due to a serious famine in Malawi there is a great need for both sustainable and immediate aid to alleviate hunger in Malawi. Our beneficiaries are Malawian Youth, the staff at each primary school who are all encouraged to share the information with their community. Volunteers also benefit from their first-hand contact with the Malawian people.
Activities
This program will provide immediate aid by providing each youth with a nutritious meal. It will also provide long-term aid through shared information about nutrition and soy.

Why this Project is Important
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will educate Malawians on nutrition and provide the knowledge necessary to survive the famine their nation is currently facing. Pupils will learn the importance of nutrition and how they can grow soy and incorporate it into their diets.
Project Message
This project offers an incredible opportunity to empower Malawians to alleviate hunger in their own country. It's amazing how appreciative the children are of a simple healthy meal and education.
