Mission

To plan and manage care and support programs, harness and build resources, build capacity, support and monitor developmental initiatives to improve the quality of life of women and children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Programs

Over the past 12 years, PWN has become a leader in advocating for, and directly supporting HIV-positive women. PWN holistically addresses the needs of HIV-positive women by fostering its 15 support groups, which provide an avenue for skills training and income-generation projects as well as treatment literacy and counseling. These groups also help women access treatment, provide links to further services, and at the macro level give women a much-needed voice in the AIDS struggle.
