Mission
The mission of the Alabama Coastal Foundation is to improve and protect Alabama's coastal resources by identifying and solving problems through education, cooperation and participation. We accomplish this mission by providing factual information, promoting dialogue, and advocating action. ACF has provided Alabama’s coastal area with more than fifteen years of innovative outreach programs with participation from communities in Baldwin, Mobile, and Washington Counties.
Programs
ACF conducts a variety of programs that encompass education, habitat preservation and coastal policy. Education Programs: Bay Buddy (youth), Coastal Kids Quiz (youth), Low Impact Development, Wetlands Regulations and Compliance Workshops, Wastewater Utility Education, Watershed Management Outreach and Education programs Habitat Programs: Osprey Platforms, Wood Duck Boxes, Tree Plantings, Invasive Species Removal, Shoreline Assessment

Personnel Overview
Bethany Kraft - Executive Director
Bethany has been involved in Gulf Coast conservation since she was a child in Texas. She was employed by the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality before relocating to Mobile, where she served as Programs Director for Mobile BayKeeper and as Administrator for County Commissioner Stephen Nodine. Bethany joined the Alabama Coastal Foundation in January, 2008.
Anna Keene - Programs Director
Anna has been involved in Alabama educational outreach projects since 2003 when she became a Board member for the Friends of Hurricane Creek in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In March of 2008, Anna joined the Alabama Coastal Foundation as Programs Director.
