Mission

DCBF is a US 501 c3 nonprofit charitable supporting organization and a Brazilian NGO dedicated to aiding street children and impoverished youth in Brazil. We work in partnership with local organizations and NGO's to provide: education, moral and social development, humanitarian relief, and the offering of opportunities where there were none before.

Personnel Overview

Sergio Junior Perim - Executive Coordinator
Junior was born and raised in the community where the first project was founded. He is from a low income family and he went to work at 11 years of age. After a disillusioning stint in politics as an adult, he became a community leader and took over as Director for the program solving problems of youth at-risk. In just 5 years his work has become a reference for an entire community.

CARLOS VINICIUS DAUMAS ROCHA - Director of Projects & Development
Aside from being a professional Clown; since 2002- Vinicius has been Director of Projects and Development of Grow and Live and Little Tiger. He studied communication at a federal University, but cut his studies short to pursue a career in the Third Sector. Vinicius previously worked with Petrobrás’ circus caravan of culture and also with the state government of Rio de Janeiro as cultural attaché.
