Mission

Relief International-Schools Online provides emergency, rehabilitation and development services that empower beneficiaries in the process. RI-SOL’s programs include health, shelter construction, education, community development, agriculture, food, income-generation, and conflict resolution. RI-SOL employs an innovative approach to program design and performance to achieve deep and lasting impact in reducing human suffering worldwide.

Personnel Overview

Emily Keehn - Program Associate
Emily is the Desk Officer for Relief International's work in Louisiana and Pakistan. She is a graduate of the Anthropology department at the University of California, San Diego. She has been actively involved with non-profit organizations both in California and abroad in its various forms including museum education, legal advocacy for migrant workers and relief and development work.

Chandra Gilmore - Program Coordinator in Louisiana
Chandra, a graduate of Tulane’s School of Public Health, manages RI’s Katrina recovery projects in the field. A returned Peace Corps Volunteer, she has a long history of grassroots nonprofit work. From working at a homeless youth shelter, to counseling and testing people for HIV/AIDS, to helping refugees integrate into American culture, she is committed to giving help and hope to those in need.
