Mission

Our mission is to strengthen the emotional, social and cognitive skills of at-risk children so they can succeed in school, in society and in their lives.

Programs

Partnership with Children's Open Heart-Open Mind program offers early intervention and preventative services to at-risk students in urban schools, through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and whole classroom and parent workshops. Our Center for Capacity Building trains others in the best practices of Open Heart-Open Mind in schools where we do not operate, furthering the reach of our work. Life Steps works with adolescents at risk for being placed in foster care.
