Mission

Develop actions for the rescue, preservation and diffusion of the indigenous culture of the state of Sonora, northwest of Mexico, including the stimulation of productive and sustainable projects that help improve the conditions of life of the indigenous villages and communities.

Embroidering an identity Developing skills and technical capacitation with a cultural approach with pima, yaqui, mayo and kikapoo women. Handcraft Forum Search of fair trade for indigeniuos handcrafts.Learning by Playing Artistic estimulation workshops and elaboration of bilingual didactic materials for indigenuos children. Encounter with my roots organization of events for the preservation and diffusion of the indigeniuos culture. Connection colaborative work with other organizations.

María Inmaculada Puente Andres - Manager
Born in Spain, married and living in Mexico since 1972, has dedicated most of her professional activity to the education of culture history of humanity.In 1997 founded Lutisuc Asociación Cultural, with a group of people that where interested in supporting the indigenous culture of Sonora, encouraging productive projects that treasure their cultural identity and help improve their life conditions

María Guadalupe Zorrilla Bernal - Assistant Manager
Born and living in Sonora, lawyer by profession, exercised this activity for 16 years with a strong direction to the social development, since 1997 collaborates with Lutisuc as assistant manager encouraging productive projects that support the development of the indigenous groups of Sonora.

Alejandra Méndez Dessens - Project Coordinator
Born and living in Sonora, graduated from Business administration on December 2004, spend a year doing volunteer work in the mountain area of Durango (another state of Mexico), started collaborating in Lutisuc in January 2006, and this way combining her professional life with social work.
