Most of these people live with less than $1 per day.We have identified 500 women who are capable of starting a small business to support their disabled child or are disabled themselves. With a small amount as less as $250 they can start their own small entreprise to get out of their chronic poverty and earn $3-4 per day. Updates from the field

By A.C.Alexander - Chief Executive Officer, August 10, 2009 12:23 PM

Ever since we launched this project on Global Giving Website we received several enquiries and appreciation from various types of people. We also received technical support from the students of ISB(Indian Business School). They visited our project and saw all our activities. They helped us to create a business model. However we had to shelve it due to Global economic recession .

We too did not receive expected support from our friends and hence we could not reach our target.Yet we are trying to make as many disabled women as poissible to stand on their legs.
