Beatrice is a carer from Vumilia, a women's grass-roots organisation that offers support to people living with HIV/AIDS. visit from health worker to a Maasai family.
This picture shows a health worker from AIDVC, an NGO that works with Riders in Kenya, visiting a Maasai family. Maasai communities live miles from any urban centre so outreach trips like this one are the only access they get to health care. The box on the back of the motorcycle is used to carry drugs.

This photo shows the difficult types of terrain that health workers have to cover to reach their communities. This is why Riders insist that all these health workers must be trained to ride motorcycles properly, to remain safe and to prolong the life of the vehicle.
