Project Needs and Beneficiaries
Every minute, a woman dies due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth. We make the health and well-being of women and children our top priority. We will train more midwives, provide more medicines and equipment in the most remote corners of the world. Women living in the world’s least developed countries, and having a child can be a dangerous fact of life, largely because they do not have a skilled attendant with them in labor to handle any of the complications that can occur.
Activities
We work to prevent maternal mortality not only by supplying medications and equipment, but also by training nurses, midwives, and doctors to handle delivery complications and provide obstetric care.
