This is a typical school in the project area with three classrooms, an office and storeroom. Most schools have been built since the end of the war through government and donor work.

The Kambama community is currently using the town barri as a school. Community members, with financial support from Tiwai Island revenue, are completing the construction of a permanent, dedicated school structure.
