To mainstream environment in the most influential sectors in the region. EFA raises environmental awareness among key stakeholders and builds the capacity of decision makers and resource users to incorporate environmental management into their priorities and actions.

Tiwai Island Wildlife Sanctuary - EFA is the principal managing partner of Sierra Leone's only community Based Eco-Tourism Project Alternative Energy Programme - Includes specialists and training modules in solar electricity and solar hot water. Environmental Governance - Hosts the secretariat for ENFORAC (Sierra Leone) and GAWA (West Africa)

Simon Willans - Lead Engineer - Alternative Energy
Simon is from Canada but has been working in Sierra Leone with EFA since January 2007. He has overseen numerous EFA solar electricity projects including a 12 site installation in Liberia for the UNHCR and other installations across Sierra Leone.
