Mission
The Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation (NYOF) is devoted to bringing hope to the most destitute children in the beautiful but impoverished Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. With a personal touch, we provide these children with what should be every child’s birthright – education, housing, medical care, and loving support. Empowered to reach their potential, these children blossom, enriching the world we all share.
Programs
Indentured Daughters – Saves girls from being sold into bonded servitude; educates families; provides alternative source of income. Nutritional Rehabilitation Homes - Saves children that are severely malnourished. Educates their mothers on proper nutrition and hygiene. J & K Orphanages – Provides a home and education for orphans that have been abandoned by their parents, many are handicapped. Education – Currently we provide scholarships for over 2000 children.

Personnel Overview
Man Bahadur Chhetri - Program Manager
Man Bahadur Chhetri oversees NYOF's Indentured Daughters Program, which rescues girls from bonded servitude. He grew up in western Nepal, where the program takes place, and has a deep understanding of the local culture. His commitment to eradicating the bonding of children from Nepal, along with enabling rural families to support themselves, has been essential to the success of the program.
