Mission
The mission of Hagar is to restore abused, exploited, and abandoned women and children to life in all its fullness, through holistic healing, community reintegration, and social entrepreneurship.
Programs
Hagar's children's programs serve girls trafficked for sex or otherwise sexually abused, children trafficked for labor, abandoned children, and children with cognitive disabilities. Women served come from backgrounds of domestic abuse, trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence. With children, Hagar's programs focus on trauma recovery and education. With women, Hagar provides counseling, education, job readiness training, and work in one of three Hagar businesses.
