Search for Common Ground (SFCG) works in 14 countries across the globe, using innovative approaches to addressing conflict. SFCG's tools range from media to sports events to workshops and trainings, encouraging adversaries to find common ground on issues of concern.

Shamil Idriss - Chief Operating Officer, SFCG
As COO of SFCG, Idriss initiated an Islamic-Western Dialogue & Cooperation Program and coordinated SFCG's US-Iran initiative. He served as Director of SFCG's Burundi Program, managing projects of Hutu-Tutsi ethnic cooperation, and conducted mediations for the Washington, DC Government Department of Human Rights. Idriss has published articles on conflict transformation Islamic-Western relations.
