By Arturo Prins - Executive Director, October 08, 2009 12:00 PM
Dr. Rabinovich (Researcher) says: "if the indications obtained till now are confirmed, it would be possible to ignite the circuit activating the production of galectina-1 or his union with azúcares in the cell dendrítica (the first gear), and the production modulating of interleuquina 27 (the second gear) or of interleuquina 10 (the third gear) to stop(detain) the autoimmune response, or to produce antibodies that block the tolerance. Next years, we are going to distribute our efforts between the basic research and the therapeutic one ".
