Mission
To bring a Social and Economic Change to the Community of Disabled people through Education, Skills Training, Advocacy, Legislation and Integration

Provide skills in tailoring, shoe making, welding, bead making and Computer. Provide Education up Senior School Certificate Examination.(SSCE) Gives free education and free Tr4aining to the disabled. Provide free accommodation for the period of training Involve in Advocacy and Legislation for the Rights of people with disabilities World Aids Campaign member, gives HIV and AIDS awareness to the Community of the disabled

Personnel Overview
Chief Mrs Aku Christy Orduh - Executive Director
An Educationist and Guidance Counsellor; Taught and managed school children for 30 years. Has many academic and social awards. Retired voluntarily when elected Ashoka Fellow. Founder, Friends of The Disabled, a registered NGO. Married with 5 children.: four are already graduated, working and are married, and one in the University. Husband is a Trustee and a Co Founder of FOTD.
Iheoma Orduh Agboifo - Project Officer
Married with two kids. First degree in biology and diploma in Mesdical Assistant. Works with American Red Cross as an Instructor in CPR/First Aid/AED. Did her internship in the training Centre for the Disabled in Nigeria. Was in charge of the Education Section 1999-2001. Taught both in the primary classes and secondary level. Hobbies include caring, traveling, reading and sports.
