Re-positioning cloth beyond charity, adding dignity and turning it into a big resource for development

SCHOOL to SCHOOL(S2S): supports thousands of rural and slum schools by turning the wastage of urban school children into a resource for them. CLOTH FOR WORK: Villagers get clothes for working for the betterment of their own village-means clothes not as charity but as an earning. walls are coming up and cleanliness/plantation drives are being initiated. NOT JUST A PIECE OF CLOTH: Provide clean cloth napkins to rural/slum women RAHAT: Relief efforts for disaster hit people

Mr. Anshu K. Gupta - Founder- Director
Anshu is a communications expert with academic and corporate background in Journalism, Advertising & PR. He left Escorts as Mgr. Corporate Communications in 1998 to start GOONJ. In a career spanning 13 years Anshu has written various articles and columns on travel & social issues . He lives in Delhi with his wife and daugther and travels extensively in the villages of India.
