More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The MCH-Clinic provides basic medical services to 7,000 people in the remote Tamang villages of Gatlang, Goljung, and Chilime. These communities suffer from health problems associated with crippling poverty, such as diarrhea, worm infestation, malnutrition, acute respiratory infections, and tuberculosis. A basic medical lab would have a significant positive impact on our ability to more accurately diagnose and treat these common ailments.

Activities

Renovate the facility (ceiling, walls, floor, and lighting), acquire furniture, equipment, and supplies, install the new equipment, support annual costs for one year
