Mission
Hands On Tokyo unites Japanese and foreign nationals in service projects benefiting the metropolitan Tokyo community. Hands On Tokyo is Tokyo's first bilingual, volunteer clearinghouse, enabling all individuals and groups to help improve the community through service.
Programs
Hands On Tokyo regular projects range from assisting at a food pantry, organizing activities at senior centers and children’s homes, and working with mentally challenged athletes of Special Olympics Japan. Every fall HOT organizes a Day Of Service to bring together large numbers of volunteers and corporate partners in one coordinated effort to give back to the Tokyo community. All projects are prescreened and volunteers undergo orientation before serving.
