Mission

Vía Tecnológica is a non-profit Civil Association, created to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of Venezuela’s low-income sectors through the transmission of knowledge and use of information and communication technology (ICT). The organization hopes to extend its actions in three areas: Recovery and distribution of computer equipments, facilitating the conditions for Internet access, and development of the innovative methodologies for teaching computer knowledge.

Programs

Vía Tecnológica has developed projects to train young people in the trade of computer repair and maintenance, and also communitarian promoters for the use of the Internet in the parishes of Antímano and La Vega. VT also helps communitarian organizations by providing equipment for the execution of their programs. Together with the Ministry of Science and Technology in Venezuela, VT is developing a program on educative contents in digital format in the area of Science and Technology.

Gioconda Mota - Manager of Learning
Educator. Has participated in and led educative experiences that direct social transformations. Has worked in ONG, organisms public and some particular initiatives. In Vía Tecnológica, develops the component of formation of the programs: instructional design, pursuit and evaluation, coordination and learning with the beneficiaries, among others.
