Mission

AKWOF promotes girls and women’s rights and self-confidence through sport, especially football. We promote women’s football as a forum for unity and reconciliation while improving the standing of women in society and raising awareness of HIV/Aids and other issues impacting women.

Programs

Train girls in all academic levels, female trainers, coaches, referees and match commissioners. Construct meeting places for women sports. Participation in the African Women’s Cup. Promote Unity and Reconciliation. Promote the inclusion of girls in sports programs within education and HIV/Aids awareness

Grace was discovered by Akwos and is the “role model” of Akwos who draws international attention. Their collaboration is extremely important, because Akwos can work with her on a grass roots level.
