Aceh Update January 2005
By Muslikhin Kusma - , June 16, 2005 12:00 AM
The mapping purposed for relocation probability, to rebuild Aceh communities, education development and listing on Aceh’s people who ready to become a teacher for alternative education both in school or tsunami traumatic assistants.
Start on January 13th 2005, have been collecting data of Aceh’s college students out of Aceh area and preparing training for teachers and tsunami traumatic assistants.
CHILDREN BROTHERHOOD
We have activity for tsunami traumatic recovery related to children education around the world that is how if we as a parents and/or schoolteachers ask our children/pupil to make a letter for Aceh’s children, it would be better if the letter attached by pictures or little souvenir (e.g. pencils, etc). For letters/stories and pictures will translated and published as a book and than distributed for tsunami children victims, also we will distribute souvenirs, and other stationeries, in the mean time to prepare some teacher with good capability in education process.
For tsunami traumatic psychological recovery, the best program is to train people, teachers and students in Aceh as a tsunami victim assistant, than to come over people from outer of Aceh area to be a volunteer for psychological recovery that hey have to learn of both local language and culture.
There for, the volunteers from outer Aceh (e.g. America, UK, Italy, etc) they may be as native speakers, the volunteers who have more time (2 to 3 years) they may be an assistant and teacher on English and/or Math, etc.
All letters and souvenirs could be colleted in the school/teacher and than send to:
