Mission
The mission of The Mountain Fund is to eliminate poverty, its causes and symptoms, in developing mountain communities around the world.
Programs
Some of our "Small Projects with Big Results": Microfinance in Cusco, Peru; Open and run a health clinic in the rural village of Thulo Syabru, Nepal; Restore a monastery in that same area; Reuse/Recycle program for outdoor gear; Medical treks into remote areas of the Rasuwa district in Nepal.

Personnel Overview
Scott MacLennan - Founder / Executive Director
Since 2001, Scott and The Mountain Fund has been working to build health clinics, improve public schools, support trekking porters, and support women's programs in Nepal. He is recently married to a Nepali native, and fully understands the culture which these women live in. He resides part-time in New Mexico, USA and part-time in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Jenn Spradlin - Assistant Director
Jenn has been involved with philanthropy since 2006, which has included experiences with helping women and children who have been abused. She also has over 15 years of administrative experience, and applies this knowledge towards her involvement with The Mountain Fund.
